Scope | Nominated as the most valued image on Commons within the scope: Jean Levaillant, design |
Used in | fr:Jean Levaillant |
Reason | New in "Commons", after a special order. This french brigadier general was also a naturalist, entomologist and ornithologist. He was the first to describe the en:House Bunting (Emberiza sahari) in 1850 ( nice eggs, btw !). Not to be confused with his father fr:François Levaillant, nor with his brother fr:Charles Levaillant, also general. Picture by en:Auguste Raffet. No geocode, it is a homework. -- Jebulon (talk) |
