Wilhelmus
Used in Global usage
Reason This is the oldest publication of the Dutch National Anthem, Het Wilhelmus, as featured in the documentary series "De Gouden Eeuw" by the Dutch public television broadcaster NTR. I couldn't find an online version of it so I ordered a scan from the library. It arrived today by mail on a CD --Vera (talk) 13:46, 9 February 2013 (UTC) -- Vera (talk)[reply]

Support Nice and very valuable. Added in the french WP. Furthermore, I love the melody of this anthem. Did you know that it is the most ancient national anthem in the world (1574) ? To be sung next end of April...--Jebulon (talk) 16:37, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Info :If you look the first letter of each verse (in red in this version), you will read the acrostic "WILLEM VAN NASSOV". Funny, isn't it ? --Jebulon (talk) 16:57, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I did know that, but it's nice to see your enthusiasm :) --Vera (talk) 12:30, 14 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Of course my comments were not for you, as I was sure a dutch lady like you knows obviously that ! :) --Jebulon (talk) 16:09, 14 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
