@WikiPedant: Is it worth organising a MVR run-off?
@Martinvl: After rereading the VI criteria and the QI criteria, it's pretty clear that very high resolution is a more important criterion for a quality image than for a valued image. The VI criteria specify only "reasonable sharpness". I think this image is the most telling illustration within the scope of the subject (and I even looked though all 566 Commons external views of the Tower), so I'm going to support it. -- WikiPedant (talk) 23:35, 14 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
