Scope | Nominated as the most valued image on Commons within the scope: Edmond Du Sommerard |
Used in | fr:Edmond Du Sommerard, en:The Lady and Unicorn among others. |
Reason | New in "Commons". The french article is now illustrated by this photograph, restored by me. Edmond du Sommerard was the son of the founder, and the first curator of the Musée de Cluny. He increased the collections of the museum very significantly, for instance he bought the The Lady and the Unicorn world known tapestry for the museum. He was the representative of France, and head of french delegations, to several "world expos" at the end of the 19th century. Alone in scope. Studio shot, no geocode is needed. -- Jebulon (talk) |
