Reason This kind of cabin was used in forests until the begining of the 20th century. It was a shelter for men who made chestnut circles for oak barrels (used to keep wine or cognac). Some of these circles can be seen in the entrance of the cabin. They are rarely still in use. -- JLPC (talk)
