  • @Ikan Kekek: that other photo would have been very much easier to photograph, being on a regular public road! The one I nominated is on the iconic main motorway entering Scotland from England, the AA74(M) (the M6 in England), which thousands of vehicle pass into Scotland on each day. Thus this photo was taken through a car windscreen travelling at speed! Pedestrians, cyclists, and other low speed traffic is banned from this road and it is illegal to stop other than in an emergency (which wouldn't include taking a photo for Wiki commons ;-)).
