| Reason | Father (Lazarist) Armand David was a missionnary, explorer of the chinese Far-East, zoologist and botanist of this part of the world, for the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle of Paris. Many (almost 70) vegetal or animal species are named after him, even a genus (Davidia). Best in scope IMO.
