  •  Comment The English description for this file does not make sense; a 19th century portal where someone was born in 1714? cmadler (talk) 14:00, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    •  Comment Natural language doesn't have unambiguous bracketing. The 19th century is attributed to the portal, but his birth was, by common sense, not in the portal, but in the hôtel, whose age isn't mentioned. --Ikar.us (talk) 14:53, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
      •  Comment Sorry for my English. The hotel was sold by Marc-René de Montalembert to Thibaud Galard de Béarn in 1787. That's why this portal and front wall were built (or rebuilt) a long time after Marc-René de Montalembert's birth. Of course the young marquis wasn't born ouside the hôtel, but inside, which wasn't uncommon in French noble families at the beginning of the 18 th century. -- I hope it's clearer now. Scope modified anyway. --JLPC (talk) 14:07, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
