The figures look like cutouts. Is that how they really look in the painting? Because if so, I think the painting was damaged in "restoration" (it wouldn't be the first time). However, I'll  Support this as useful, anyway. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 04:10, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Comment Good observation. This point is not related to the restoration, nor to Francesco Bissolo. Many of the paintings of this period have this peculiarity. It is linked to the fact that the characters are painted by the master and the background landscaped by the assistants. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 05:10, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
