Comment Is this a photograph of an exhibit in the Science Park? In which case, whose copyright is it because I doubt it's a free image, see COM:DW? Rodhullandemu (talk) 21:33, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Comment Great! Then I think we can pass this, but not in this scope. First of all, "pictures of..." would mean that this is a photo of a picture; second, I think it would make more sense to make this scope more specific to leave room for any number of other useful photos others may take at PCMC Science Park, so I would suggest "Informational placards on the operation of the iris, PCMC Science Park, Pune, India". -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 07:34, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Martinv Sorry, but unfortunately I can't. But there was a sign existing in the park saying All text and pictures used in this property is in the Public Domain. It would take me 7 days to proof that so I can take a picture of it.

Ikan Kekek I have made the modification. Thanks --Contributers2020Talk to me here 06:30, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Comment @Contributers2020 - You need to be sure that the copyright waiver is attached to the file - if in a years time somebody looks at the file and does not see an appropriate copyright statement, they will not look here to check up. Also, the waiver needs to come from the copyright owner themselves. You have two choices - you can follwo the procedure outlined in Commons:Volunteer Response Team or you can photgraph the waiver notice yourself, upload the waiver notice and link it to your file. •  Support Useful, and I'm satisfied with the statement about copyright, but Martinvl is right that in 10 years or whatever, someone will nominate this for deletion because they like to assume bad faith and will claim that your statement is invalid as sufficient evidence. So definitely take a photo of that waiver notice or find a photo of it somewhere if at all possible. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:42, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ikan Kekek and Martinvl, I have submitted a OTRS request successfully. --Contributers2020Talk to me here 01:21, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
