How to make a request

First make sure you clicked the correct edit-link and you are actually requesting the right you want.

Copy the following and append it to the text-area:

Replace reason with a rationale based on the rollback guideline, renaming guideline or the patroller guideline.
Press Publish changes.

If your request has remained unanswered for several days, consider personally asking an administrator.
Administrators, please welcome users granted a new right with an appropriate message.
When requesting rights that need support by the community (e.g. administrator) please go to Commons:Requests and votes!

If you request the rollback-right, please read the how-to first.

Admins and anyone with global rollback don't need to request rollback. License reviewers don't have to request the patrol flag.

Hi, I'm mostly active on English Wikipedia but I've uploaded many files (mostly scans of public domain pictures) to Wikimedia Commons since 2019. Hi there, I'm a relatively frequent uploader of (hopefully!) high quality images for use across Wikimedia, and am running into Special:AbuseFilter/313 on my own images, in this case for using my license template. I’d like to request file mover rights so I can fix (both self and importing) error,according to guidelines, by myself. I often come across files that need renaming for better clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Having these rights would help me contribute more efficiently (while doing category maintenance, like the one I made for DJs); moreover it will avoid overloading rename requests and relative categories (where I can also help with this right).
