- Question Ivar Very strange-artificial DOF gradience, seems like Heaviside function. There are also some mistakes, which I can't add since I don't see "Add a note" button. ISO 500 is for...? I would put just 1st photo, corrected. --Mile (talk) 14:26, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
- Comment What is the question? Honestly, I didn't understand most of Your comment. --Ivar (talk) 14:36, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
- Comment This has been composed by focus stacking, which of course is not a bad thing as such, but I think the steps should have been narrower. --Kreuzschnabel 14:38, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
- Comment Kreuz explained in more understadable words, also asking why ISO 500 - it wasn't handsfree, so. --Mile (talk) 16:16, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
- Kreuzschnabel: if the stacking step is too wide, you'll see a blurry sector across the photo (especially visible on the base). Do You actually see that? All frames with DOF are overlapping and that with the help of stacking programs remote-control. Mile: with modern DSLR cameras ISO 500 has no impact on photos quality, if You are referring to that. --Ivar (talk) 16:36, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
- Comment Ivar, to create a smoother transition from in-focus to out-of-focus areas, I often find it useful to add a few extra frames to the end of the stack, taken with the lens progressively stopped down. Julesvernex2 (talk) 21:29, 9 December 2020 (UTC)

- Support Maybe the transition from sharp to unsharp is a little bit steep on the underground only, but the fruits seem impeccable, appetizing, astonishing … --Aristeas (talk) 08:32, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
- Support If there are defects I am quite unable to find them. But i never did focus stacking. Christian Ferrer (talk) 17:28, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
