- Info Tabanid fly (Haematopa pseudolusitanica) in a mountaneous area of Portugal. The females are voraceous blood-suckers, attacking large mammals, including men. Notice the blade-like mouth parts, used to cut the skin and draw blood. Second try, after some image improvement (here). Everything by Alvesgaspar (talk) 19:23, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
