Small garden snail in the rain
  • @Laitche: Sounds likely. Even if snails move slowly, they do move and the eyes can be very fast. I didn't want to go higher on the ISO since the snail was so small and the grain would have been too much. The main thing that fascinated me was that the surface tension of the water made it cling to the body since the snail was so small. It moved with its own little 'swimming pool'. That and the eyes looking at you made this stand out from other snail photos so I thought I might give it a try here. At full photo size it is huge compared to the actual size of the snail. I could downsize it to say 3000px like the seal below, that would make it sharp enough, but I choose not to. -Cart (talk) 10:59, 29 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
