Prospect Park during autumn
  •  Comment Just wanted to ask, how come Hi-Res can be on unstatic subjects. But i saw 9000+ px length - can Hi-Res do that Kreuz ? talk so is it pana made - more shots stiched ? But it is very sharp, normal Pana stitch deosnt make so sharp photos. So in doubt, how was it made ? --Mile (talk) 15:06, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • Just 15 overlapping individual frames, but it's 3 wide by 5 high. So there's quite a bit of overlap to get several points of focus (some sharpening in post, too). Like I said, it was mainly about the trees for me. Then I let Lightroom stitch them together. I took enough for several panoramas, and this was the one that worked best IMO. — Rhododendrites talk15:18, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • 9,000+ pixels in width is technically possible – the OM-D sensor records a frame of 4,640×3,472 in RAW mode, with twice the linear resolution in hi-res mode. --Kreuzschnabel 16:25, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Even so. Well quality is perfect. Wondering why we lack Hi-Res shots, some people have it. At least to evade "Bayer filter" and get real colors, just downsize it back to some 16 Mpx. --Mile (talk) 19:47, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose per others. Very high-quality and atmospheric, but no great composition. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 00:51, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Support Very sharp and beautiful. I agreed about the composition at first, but it is growing on me. Cmao20 (talk) 17:17, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment New version uploaded. Just a minor touch-up for compositional reasons (saturation on the right edge because the similarity of saturation on the edges is one of the things I liked about it in-person, but the first version didn't capture that; and a selective shadows adjustment that's hopefully not too much of a liberty at the very bottom). Unlikely to change any minds but FYI pings @Cmao20, Ikan Kekek, Kreuzschnabel, and PetarM: Rhododendrites talk19:50, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose What's special here? Sorry, I really don't get the composition and subject -- Basile Morin (talk) 23:20, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose per Basile Morin. --Fischer.H (talk) 14:15, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose per Basile. Yes, that was an unusually warm day for this time of year and it shows in the photo, and it's nice to see people in the picture wearing masks and/or keeping their six-foot distance. It must have felt very special, but this didn't come through. Daniel Case (talk) 03:14, 6 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment Rhododendrites I would still looking for some beter composition. For this, i would not put people od the dge of photo, but more to third rule or middle. But quality ig very good. Some different photo in this IQ migth pass. Also i would not mix shadow and sun part.--Mile (talk) 10:33, 6 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  •  I withdraw my nomination meh. it's discouraging to get exactly the shot I wanted and be certain it's an FP but hear it's a dud, but oh well. probably won't be the last time. onward. — Rhododendrites talk05:11, 6 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
