Ever since I first saw this picture I've been itching to crop it and make a more "action-y" version rather than the original version of the monument. I hope that Hubertl will not be too angry with me for doing this. If this is in any way inappropriate, please tell me so and I'll withdraw my nomination. -- cart-Talk 18:32, 21 September 2016 (UTC) - Support -- cart-Talk 18:32, 21 September 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose Sorry but I cannot see anything of wow here. The busy background doesn’t help, the man on the stairs does not appear to make any sense (except as a target for the lance), so everything of interest is crowded into the top half. Needs a different POV (to make the background less distracting) or background blur by bokeh. Pic is tilted CCW the fix of which will make the crop even tighter. --Kreuzschnabel 19:46, 21 September 2016 (UTC)

- Oppose Per Kreuzschnabel. INeverCry 20:56, 21 September 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose more or less per Kreuzschnabel. I've been looking at a bunch of photos of this monument on QIC. It's an interesting subject, and many of Hubertl's photos of it are quite interesting, but the impression that I'm getting is that perhaps it's very difficult to take a really great photo of it, because of its surroundings. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:42, 21 September 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose It's sort of an interesting street photograph, but there's a long way to go from there to FP. Daniel Case (talk) 06:53, 22 September 2016 (UTC)
- I withdraw my nomination, I can see where this is going and I'll leave the humor at the door the next time. Thanks for your time and your comments; "s", "n" or "o", I always welcome them and learn from them. --cart-Talk 09:17, 22 September 2016 (UTC)
