WeakSupport Nice (it reminds me that composition)but underexposed in my view. Even the background is not so bright- Basile Morin (talk) 01:00, 18 September 2020 (UTC)- Comment I don't think it's comparable with that composition. The "dark" wall is not an external facade like in the other picture you mention but the back wall of a passage. This windowless passage is very dark. I had to brighten it up a bit, in the original shot the wall was even darker. The background is a narrow inner courtyard, surrounded by high walls with no direct light (and not a large park; it was a sunny day when the picture was taken). --Llez (talk) 01:50, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
- Both compositions are comparable. Not the same images, but two centered compositions with round door in the wall, and vegetation behind. (And this is the aspect I like).
- Now of course I notice the camera is located in a darker room. Still, overall the image is divided into two parts: 1) One very dark foreground 2) One grey background. And just a tiny luminous area at the top of the stairs. 90% of the surface is too dark. You're saying there was no direct light in this narrow courtyard, due to tall walls, and yes, unfortunately that's visible: the exposure is not well set in my view. Sorry but same problem as here before it was fixed. You can increase quite a lot the light of the whole image and create a more appealing appearance -- Basile Morin (talk) 06:29, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
- OK now -- Basile Morin (talk) 05:56, 19 September 2020 (UTC)
- Support per Cmao20. I would try Basile’s hint, but I already like the photo as it is. --Aristeas (talk) 10:09, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
- Info I did my best. But I have put the original raw file online, perhaps someone tries to improve the picture even more, I didn't succeed. --Llez (talk) 11:22, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
- Just add +0.6 exposure in Lightroom and that's done IMO -- Basile Morin (talk) 12:53, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
- I tried it, but then is too much noise in the darker part. Could you try it and upload the result in the folder of the link? --Llez (talk) 17:56, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
- Sure, Done You may want to adjust the noise level with the 2nd version (obtained with Topaz DeNoise AI) -- Basile Morin (talk) 23:18, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
- Many thanks, I uploaded the version improved by you --Llez (talk) 05:11, 19 September 2020 (UTC)

- Comment Nice shot but could you denoise the hall in the background a bit? Look at the flowerlike pattern on the wall, it doesn't look good Poco a poco (talk) 10:27, 19 September 2020 (UTC)
- Done --Llez (talk) 11:27, 19 September 2020 (UTC)
