Fountain pen
@W.carter: That's not upside down text. It's Cyrillic script ... "работа" at right and "всегда" at left, with something incomplete on the right side of the pen nib next to it. Daniel Case (talk) 07:22, 1 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Daniel Case: I meant that the text is "upside down" in relation to the direction of the pen, not the viewer. It would look more natural if the pen was in writing position in relation to the text. Growing up next to the CCCP you do get to pick up a bit of knowledge about Cyrillic script. ;) (there is also a comma in the text to guide you if you don't know the letters) --cart-Talk 08:56, 1 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • I have to explain; why diagonal, simple - because of composition. That white, unwriten, triangle in corner have some meaning, and nib is pointing to it. Putting this straight would be bad idea. Not just compo, but straight line of white would be strange, even if i would fill half line. Most of all, this go like this. Compo is fine, and i spent more time making compo than shooting itselve. But you can also see Google search, writing text result, see where pen is included. --Mile (talk) 09:46, 1 February 2017 (UTC) p.S. You have left diagonal (text) and right diagonal (pen), that work.[reply]
  • Not suggesting straight lines but a 180° rotation of just the text (diagonal text is best), and it was only a small consideration, not enough to make into a big thing. I have 'supported' it and all is well. --cart-Talk 11:02, 1 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@-donald-: See my note to cart above. It's not upside-down Latin, but right-side up Cyrillic. Daniel Case (talk) 07:26, 1 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
