These two skyscrapers in the City of London are nicknamed "The Cheesegrater" (122 Leadenhall Street) and "The Gherkin" (30 St Mary Axe). - I haven't adjusted it from what the camera chose. The left sides of the buildings are in shade and both buildings reflect the sky, which was certainly a cold blue that morning. -- Colin (talk) 22:36, 10 April 2015 (UTC)

I withdraw my nomination The "washed out" look wasn't really apparent till I altered the colour balance at FPC. Seems to be the way the sun is reflecting off the buildings. I thought the contrasting geometric shapes of the two buildings was interesting enough -- neither shape is common, nor are these easy buildings to photograph. -- Colin (talk) 17:42, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
