- Question Why so many plant profiles in golden hour? Although look attractive; they hide the real colours, so not suitable for the info boxes. They are good for other purposes though. JKadavoor Jee 11:55, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
- Comment Because the light is simply beautiful, soft, diffused and warm. We have a composition without harsh shadows or blown-out highlights. Regards, --Ivar (talk) 13:10, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
- Then please consider adding a picture in daylight too. Otherwise chances for rejection at EN:FPC; as they prefer natural color for specimens. JKadavoor Jee 14:35, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
- In this case I wouldn't say, that golden hour has hidden real colors. The shot was taken about a hour before the sunset and the yellow-red light was not intensive. The pic, that you did mention before, was taken in a different month (may - shortly after flowering; mine was taken in august). The fruits of Carex muricata are getting darker during ripening and in full ripe they are very dark (almost black). Regards, --Ivar (talk) 15:01, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
