- weak oppose We have this other FP of Bombus lapidarius. I think that in comparison the detail level/sharpness of the bee in this nomination is less good. Not much of the bee is really in focus, especially the wings are quite undefined and the upper part of the body is quite dark making it difficult to discriminate details. The overall composition is really good though, the light on the yellow clover is very pleasant. And it has quite good wow. - Oppose per Slaunger. I think the other photo is better as a whole, in addition to the bee being clearer. I also think we all understand that the wings are giving us motion blur in this picture, and are judging the result accordingly. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 07:38, 31 October 2016 (UTC)
