(Redirected from Chadō)
English: Chadō ("Way of Tea") is a Japanese cultural activity involving the ceremonial preparation and presentation of matcha (抹茶), powdered green tea. It is also called sadō. The manner in which it is performed, or the art of its performance, is called (o)temae ([お]手前; [お]点前). Chadō is counted as one of the three classical Japanese arts of refinement, along with kadō for flower arrangement, and kōdō for incense ceremony.
日本語:茶道(さどう、ちゃどう)は、日本伝統の湯を沸かし、茶を点(た)て、茶を振る舞う行為(茶の儀式)。
