- Support Obviously as a proposer. Volzhsky is 1) Not quite correct as the transliteration from Russian 2) Is not even used by (for example) U.S. Defense Mapping Agency Hydrographic/Topographic Center. The only thing that this spelling has going for it is that Americans find it easier to spell names and places ending with '-ski' or '-sky' even when they should be '-skiy'.
