Ildefons Bobič is Belarusian and wrote also articles and books in Belarusian. VIAF does not indicate works in Belarusian (for example this). Most likely, the authors were guided by Polish sources, where, naturally, the name is written according to Polish rules. "Bobič" is transliteration from Belarusian.
