Category talk:House of Gascony in Comminges

Should this category be merged in the bigger category "Category:House of Gascony"? I don't know. Were they an independent family, known as "House/family of Comminges" or called themselves as gascons? That I know there is no historical mention of an "House of Comminges". The members called themselves "of Comminges" to identify their land, but they were descendants in male line from the Gascon dynasty. In my opinion, until more evidence of an independency from its gascon roots, I would choose the merging. But I'm in serious doubt. Can someone help, please? Tell me your opinion. - @BeatrixBelibaste: Hi! Thank you for your edit. However, I've put the matter at discussion here. As no one answered, I just thought I could make the move. Do you think, at least, that we can keep the branches of Béarn, Bigorre and Pallars as part of the Gascon family? I'm a little confused, because I don't know for sure to which point each branch is more or less independent, more or less gascon. With this said, I consider the branches included (Astarac, Béarn, Bigorre,Fézensac, Gabarret, Marsan and Pallars) as direct branches, and so as part of the Ducal Gascon family, and thereby included in the "House of Gascony".
