Text on objects with separate categories

The recent inception of this category, has led to a minor dispute on Category:Zeichen_244,_StVO_1992. Two users User:A.Savin and myself have independently added the german road sign to this category. This was on a twicefold occasion manually reverted by User:Enhancing999 and on the other occasion met with a message to my talk page. The question brought up is, whether images showing the current Zeichen 244 should separately be categorized as showing the text "Fahrradstraße", or whether the road sign should be categorized accordingly, indirectly passing down the category. --Tyroxin (talk) 16:17, 29 June 2024 (UTC)

I argue in favor of tagging the Zeichen with this text category, and only allow images that are not covered by existing categories to be tagged directly. The images in question would depict road signs that are reasonably if not clearly identifiable as Zeichen 244, which ought to be standardized to show the text "Fahradstraße". The object is expected to show this text, even if the photography does not depict it.--Tyroxin (talk) 16:17, 29 June 2024 (UTC)

There is actually no doubt that this category is better placed to Zeichen cat rather than to each of potential hundreds of files showing this road sign.

Enhancing999 just seems to be on a vendetta tour for Jeanhousen, that's it. --A.Savin 16:39, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
