English: Watanabe On (渡部 温 or 渡辺 温, July 22, 1837 – August 7, 1898), whose old name was Watanabe Ichirō (渡部 一郎 or 渡辺 一郎), was a Japanese scholar of Western learning during the late edo period and Meiji era, and a direct retainer of the Shogun.
