English: A Log Monument commemorating the timber industry in the Manning Valley, New South Wales is located in Central Park in Wingham, New South Wales. (Monuments Australia) It is a 400 year old Tallowwood (Eucalyptus microcorys) log with a length of 16 meters (52'6"), a girth of 3.8 meters (12'6") and weighs 19 tonnes. A plaque notes that if it was cut, it could produce enough decking boards to stretch over 4km.
