Rocking Hall is an early shooting house, built in 1758 for the Bolton Abbey Estate. It lies in a remote position on Rocking Moor, between the Washburn Valley and Wharefedale in the Yorkshire Dales in northern England. It is a substantial stone-built structure and is still in use. It takes its name from a large rocking stone nearby. Nearby is an even earlier 17th century farmhouse.
