English: The RIM-50 Typhon was a missile that was intended to be a RIM-2 Terrier missile–sized replacement of the RIM-8 Talos missile to be used with the Typhon combat system. The RIM-50 was canceled in 1963. The technology in development for this missile was incorporated in to the RIM-67 Standard missile.
