English: The palace was commissioned by Mariano Miró, designed by architects Nicolás and José Canale, and opened in 1868. The residence was located on the block formed by Viamonte, Libertad, Córdoba, and Talcahuano streets (in front of Plaza Lavalle) of Buenos Aires, and was demolished in 1937 when the municipality decided to expand the square. – source: Arcón de Buenos Aires
