The entrance hall of the Old Leeds School of Medicine is a hexagonal structure, with walls lined with Mansfield stone. It has six carved wooden ceiling bosses by Appleyard. It also has three large arches made of decorative turquoise-blue tiles, with inset wooden panels by Appleyard, depicting the arms of other schools of medicine. Underfoot is a terracotta-coloured mosaic floor with flower borders. There is no public access to the interior of the building.
