English: Liverpool was a four-masted iron-hulled ship completed in 1889 by Russell & Co, Port Glasgow for RW Leyland & Co., Liverpool. Her dimensions were: length: 333.2 ft (101.5 m); width: 47.8 ft (14.5 m); depth: 26.4 ft (804.6 cm) and tonnages 3,396 GRT and 3,330 NRT. Rigged with double topsails and single topgallant sails. Stranded 1902 on Alderney on voyage from Antwerp to San Francisco. [1][2]
