Deutsch: Die Krupp'sche Villa am ehemaligen Strandweg (ab 1933 Hindenburgufer, später Kiellinie 71) wurde für Gustav Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach errichtet, vermutlich um 1910, Umbau 1914 von Hans Beissel. Unmittelbar neben der Villa befanden sich auf Grundstücken der Familie Krupp der „Kaiserliche Yachtclub“ (später Kieler Yacht Club) sowie das “Krupp'sche Logierhaus” (später Institut für Weltwirtschaft).
English: The Krupp Villa on the former Strandweg (from 1933 Hindenburgufer, later Kiellinie 71) was built for Gustav Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach, probably around 1910, remodeled in 1914 by Hans Beissel. Directly next to the villa, on property owned by the Krupp family, were the „Imperial Yacht Club“ (later the Kiel Yacht Club) and the „Krupp Guest House“ (later the Kiel Institute for World Economy).
