English: Buy bye, Welfare was the first installation with bill board size text created by Marcel Douwe Dekker at the exhibition All Dressed Up (Allemaal in PAK) May 1993 in Rotterdam-West. This concept was applied in the 1994 installation in R'dam Hilton, where the floor mat returned with the "Sweet Dreaams" text on the wall. Later this concept was integrated in the installation Readable Furniture in The Hague Art Circle association in The Hague.(sources: RD, 1994 ; HC, 1994 ; NRC, 1994 )
