English: The original twin-cam Alfa Romeo 1900 engine (tipo 1306) was of 1884cc and first appeared in the 1950 Alfa 1900. In 1953 a slightly bored out version with 1975cc appeared (tipo 1308), first in the 1900 Super and later in the 1959 Alfa 2000. The tipo 1306 was also used in the Alfa Romeo Matta (AR51) military jeep.
