Deutsch: Das 3. Lothringische Feldartillerie-Regiment Nr. 69 der Preußischen Armee wurde mit Stiftungstag vom 25. März 1899 gegründet. Das Regiment hatte seine Garnison in St. Avold in Lothringen. In der Friedensgliederung bis 1914 gehörte das Regiment zur 34. Feldartillerie-Brigade (Sitz ebenfalls in St. Avold), diese zur 34. Infanterie-Division, und diese zum XVI. Armee-Korps.
