English: Abu Zafar Sirajuddin Muhammad Bahadur Shah Zafar, also known as Bahadur Shah or w:Bahadur Shah II ; October 24 1775 – 7 November 1862) was the last of the Mughal emperors in India, as well as the last ruler of the Timurid Dynasty . He was the son of Akbar Shah II by his Hindu wife Lalbai. He became the Mughal Emperor upon his father's death on September 28, 1838.
हिन्दी: बहादुर शाह ज़फ़र (1775-1862) भारत में मुग़ल साम्राज्य के आखिरी शहंशाह थे और उर्दू भाषा के माने हुए शायर थे। उन्होंने 1857 के स्वतन्त्रता संग्राम में भारतीय सिपाहियों का नेतृत्व किया। युद्ध में हार के बाद अंग्रेजों ने उन्हें बर्मा (अब म्यांमार) भेज दिया जहाँ उनकी मृत्यु हुई।
