De diplomaat Sakurada was een in Den Haag gestationeerde zaakgelastigde van het Japanse Keizerrijk, die door een liefdesmisdaad om het leven kwam.
English: General Cemetary Kerkhoflaan, The Hague; Close-up of the grave monument of Sakurada Chikayoshi (also written: Thikayoshi) (born Kitauwa District, Ehime, Shikoku, Japan, ± 1843, deceased Rotterdam, South Holland Province, Netherlands, 15 Maart 1885). Sakurada was a Japanese diplomat with the rank of Chargé d'affaires, who was stationed in the city of The Hague, Netherlands. He was shot and killed by his mistress (in an crime of passion) in a hotel in the city of Rotterdam, Netherlands. |
